A PEDESTRIAN SERIOUSLY injured in a road crash in Co Monaghan earlier this month has died in hospital.
The pedestrian, a man aged 47, was hit by an SUV shortly before 1:00am on Saturday 6 September.
He was brought to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda, where he was treated for his injuries.
Gardaí are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the collision and have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
