Feud

Man suffers head injuries after feud-linked attack in Mullingar

His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

A MAN IN early 20s was taken to hospital with head injures following an assault in Mullingar overnight.

The assault happened at about 10pm following a disturbance in the Lynn Heights area in the south of the town.

The man was taken to the the emergency department in Mullingar Hospital where his injuries were described as not life-threatening.

It’s believed that the incident may be linked to an ongoing feud among members of the Traveller community.
