Twitter

How potty-mouthed are you on Twitter? You better watch out...

…naughty and nice lists are being made

DO YOU SWEAR a lot? You probably swear a lot.

Well now, thanks to a new app called ‘Social Santa’, you can find out exactly how much you do swear.

The analysis tool allows Tweeters the world over to find out how much filth their perpetuating in the online sphere – and duly informs them how Santa is likely to react to the news.

The website has compiled a naughty list – of Twitter’s most prolific swearers, and a nice list – of those most conscientious about avoiding foul language online.

Some people have managed to be foul mouthed on Twitter with pretty astounding frequency. Others have been just as impressive in their pious aversion to bad language.

Here’s how a few staff around TheJournal.ie’s office fared in the test:

Keeping it pretty clean.

The software breaks down exactly what you’ve said and how frequently – and shows you the tweets that the offending terms have appeared in.
