#USA: The FBI gave more details about the weapons used by Aaron Alexis in the Washington Navy Yard massacre, confirming that he entered the facility with a shotgun.

#IRAN: Blocks on social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook were lifted for several hours in Iran today but the ‘technical glitch’ has now been fixed and control resumed.

#ITALY: The Costa Concordia has finally been pulled upright.
