IT LOOKS LIKE this could be the week that we finally get a government.
An agreement between Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil was reached on Friday, and both parties will meet separately in Leinster House today to decide if they will be giving it their backing.
Fine Gael are also seeking out the support of independent TDs to support a minority government.
Writing for TheJournal.ie, Vincent Browne has called the probable new arrangement “the worst possible outcome to the general election”.
