TODAY’S BUDGET BRINGS the good news that paying Contactless is about to get even slicker,

The limit on what you can spend simply by waving your debit card in front of the little machine is being raised from €15 to €30.

Now, while this means you can mindlessly fritter your money away in Penneys even quicker, it also means that you can feel even more glam  more of the time.

Let’s face it, paying Contactless is the financial equivalent of this:

The move is part of an effort to incentivise electronic payments in Ireland.

Yeah yeah yeah, we all know the real reason is so we can dazzle more people with our suave moves.
