STRANGE AND STRANGELY compelling, this animated video paying homage to movies from the 1980s, video games from the 1990s and the city of Dublin has been highlighted by the staff at Vimeo this week.

Created by Pearsmiths, with a soundtrack by Sounds of System Breakdown, the five-minute short features a number of familiar city centre landmarks, including the Spire

It also has a giant walrus looking at earth. Obviously.
