Pipe bomb explodes in residential area of Coolock

The device went off on Apollo Way in the early hours of this morning but there was no damage to property and no injuries, according to gardaí.

A PIPE BOMB exploded in a residential area of the north Dublin suburb of Coolock in the early hours of this morning.

The device did not cause any damage or injuries after it exploded on Apollo Way in Coolock, north Dublin at around 12.30am this morning.

Gardaí confirmed this morning that there have been no arrests in connection with the incident.

An investigation is ongoing.
