THE IRISH MEDIA this week discovered that an American company is developing a board game based on the famine.
What could go wrong?
The game hasn’t yet been released, but the company has so far raised over €13,000 for its production, signalling that there actually are people who think this is a good idea.
The game has been criticised online, with many deeming it offensive or inappropriate.
Until “The Great Hunger”, as it’s called, is out, there are plenty of other, more normal, board games one could play.
