GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING reports of shots fired in north Dublin in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The shots were fired in the Shangan Avenue area of Ballymun at around 4am.

The scene has been preserved for a technical examination.

No injuries were sustained in the incident.

Gardaí have said investigations are ongoing.
