SINGER SINEAD O’CONNOR has been found safe and well.
The musician was found at about 1.45pm local time (7.45pm Irish time) and is no longer listed as missing or in danger a spokesman for Wilmette Police told TheJournal.ie.
O’Connor had been sought by police in Chicago, who had wanted to check on her wellbeing.
Police in Wilmette, Illinois, released a ‘check for well-being’ earlier today.
They said that they were seeking to check her wellbeing after she reportedly left the Wilmette area for a bicycle ride yesterday at 6am and didn’t return.
“A caller expressed concern for her well-being,” said a police statement sent to TheJournal.ie.
O’Connor was last seen active on her Facebook page yesterday at around 2pm.
Wilmette is a suburb of 27,000 people, located 23 km north of downtown Chicago.
