Small earthquake strikes Blackpool

A 2.3 MAGNITUDE EARTHQUAKE has struck the Blackpool area of England, causing minor damage to a railway bridge, according to the Guardian. Local police said the bridge will be examined by a surveyor today. The British Geological Survey recorded the earthquake – the largest detected in the area since 1970 - just after 2.30am today.
