Gardaí and emergency services are at the scene, including several units of Kildare Fire Service.

Gardaí said the incident was first reported shortly after 3pm.

Premises in the area were evacuated, and no injuries have been reported.

Gardaí and the AA Roadwatch have advised motorists in the area, including those travelling on the M7 motorway, to drive with care as visibility has been affected.
