Proof: There IS snow in some parts of Ireland today

THERE WERE BITTER arguments in offices across Cork today about whether it was snowing or ‘sleeting’ outside.

But we’ve received some pictorial proof to show that it did, indeed, snow in some parts of the country.

William O’Callaghan sent us this clever picture – with the tagline ‘Polar Conditions in Strandhill’ – this afternoon.


Sarah Townsend and her dog Penny also enjoyed the beautiful sights of a snowy Benbulben in Sligo today.
