Are you doing Sober October?

People are being encouraged to give up or cut back on alcohol for the month of October.

MOST OF US have heard of Dry January, but what about Sober October?

Mental health charity Turn2Me is encouraging people to take part in the month-long challenge, which involves either giving up alcohol completely or cutting back on how much they drink.

Speaking on Newstalk Breakfast yesterday, Turn2Me CEO Fiona O’Malley highlighted some of the benefits of the challenge – including improved sleep and the chance to explore alcohol-free alternatives.

So today we’re asking: Are you doing Sober October?
