Do you like to stargaze?

Are you a stargazing fanatic?

FROM THE NORTHERN lights to a supermoon eclipse, there has been no shortage of stunning events in Irish skies over the last year.

Now there’s another reason to stargaze, as a rare planetary event will be visible over Ireland for the next four weeks.

The ‘Planet Parade’ or the ‘great planetary alignment’, will see the sky scattered with a number of visible planets – including Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. Uranus and Neptune will also be visible through a telescope.

So today we’re asking: Do you like to stargaze?

Poll Results:

Yes, I can't stop looking at them  (1947)
Sometimes, if there's something good happening  (1909)
No, I shut the curtains to avoid any chance of stargazing (312)
