Man arrested as cannabis seized in Tallaght

Gardaí seized cannabis with an estimated street value of €32,500 this evening.

A MAN IN his early 30s has been arrested and over €32,000 worth of cannabis has been seized following the search of a house in Tallaght in Dublin this evening.

Gardaí say that as part of an ongoing operation a house in Tallaght was searched and herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of €32,500 seized.

The man was arrested and is currently being detained at Tallaght Garda station.

He can be held for up to 24 hours and gardaí say their enquiries are ongoing.
