2. #COURTS Adam Clayton’s former PA Carol Hawkins was sentenced to seven years in prison today for stealing almost €3 million of his money over a four year period.

3. #CLASSROOMS The European Investment Bank has agreed to provide €100m in funding to the Irish Government over the next two years for a school buildings project. 35 primary and 12 secondary schools across the country will be constructed and upgraded, bringing 550 new classrooms into the system.

4. #FINLAND Finland’s finance minister said today that the country would consider leaving the euro rather than paying off the debts of another country.

5. #KINGS OF THE CRAIC If you were in Dublin today you may have noticed a few posters and billboards which say ‘thank you’ to the Irish football fans from the city of Poznan in Poland. It made us come over all misty-eyed. Ah memories….
