  • Hotels, B&Bs, guesthouses, self-catering accommodation and hostels can reopen. Indoor dining and bar services for residents can resume. 

 

  • Outdoor matches: Up to 100 or 200 depending on venue
  • Outdoor Restaurants, Cafes, Bars*: Tables of up to 6 with additional provisions for children under 12
  • Wedding celebrations/receptions: Up to 25 guests
  • Indoor visits in private homes*: From one other household for unvaccinated households
  • Outdoor Events: Up to 100 or 200 depending on venue
  • Gyms, Swimming Pools, Leisure Centres: Individual training only
  • Cinemas and Theatres

 

  • Outdoor matches: Up to 200 or 500 depending on venue
  • Indoor matches: Up to 50 or 100 depending on venue

  • Travel: New travel advice and the EU Digital Covid Certificate system will come into effect.

 

  • Over half of the adult population (over 18 years) will have received their first dose vaccination by the end of May
  • Over 1 million doses administered during May
  • Over 2.6m doses have now been administered
  • Plans in place to administer over 300,000 doses weekly
  • Roll out is well advanced to at-risk groups including those aged over 70 years, residents and staff in long term care facilities and frontline healthcare workers with improved outcomes
  • Significant number of housebound people have been vaccinated with referrals ongoing
  • Vaccination of high risk and very high risk groups is on track
  • Latest research shows that public sentiment on vaccine uptake remains high

 

  • First Dose Vaccinations will start 40-44 year olds
  • Second dose vaccinations underway 45-69 year olds
  • 38 vaccination centres operational

 

  • Second dose vaccinations continue for all groups
  • Vaccine extended to all remaining age groups down to those aged 16

 

Everyone should continue to work from home unless it is absolutely necessary to attend in person.
