time is on your side

You should have put your clocks back by an hour overnight

You did it already, you say? Never mind so.

IT’S OFFICIAL: SUMMERTIME is over and the dark winter evenings are drawing in.

The clocks went back by one hour at 2am this morning. Did you remember? Did you do it?

More importantly: did you have to spend a puzzling few minutes trying to figure out whether your smartphone and other devices had actually updated automatically or not?

Either way, it is going to be getting darker earlier from tonight – the sun will be setting at 4.58pm this evening.

The clocks will be rolling forward again on 25 March 2018.

Until then, there are 148 days of candles, coats, turning the heat on, blankets, hot drinks, layers of clothes, slippers, umbrellas, rosy cheeks, gloves, thick socks and cold hands ahead.
