Man (20) dies a week after motorcycle crash in west Belfast

A 20-YEAR-OLD MOTORCYCLIST has died after a crash last weekend.

TJ Kennedy, from Poleglass, was involved in a two-vehicle collision in west Belfast on Sunday 5 July.

He was taken to hospital for treatment of serious injuries, but died in hospital on Saturday evening.

PSNI Detective Inspector Stewart from the collision investigation unit said investigations into the crash are continuing.

Police received a report of a collision between a blue Volkswagen Touran and silver Yamaha Tracer in the Shaws Road area, at its junction with Greenan at around 6pm on Sunday.

“Officers along with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service attended the scene – and Mr Kennedy was taken onward to hospital. No other injuries were reported,” Stewart said.
