Two remain in custody over Bandon river murder

The body of John Forrester was discovered in the River Bandon in Cork on 15 November.

TWO PEOPLE REMAIN in custody in Bandon Garda station this morning after being arrested in relation to a murder in Cork.

The body of John Forrester was discovered in the River Bandon on 15 November.

Gardaí in Bandon investigating the murder yesterday arrested a 37-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman in connection with the incident.

They are being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act and can be detained for up to 24 hours from the time of the arrest.
