Weather expected to turn cold this bank holiday weekend

Met Éireann said tomorrow will be “dull, damp and breezy” with outbreaks of rain and drizzle.

THE WEATHER IS expected to turn cold this weekend, with Met Éireann predicting highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees today.

The forecaster has said this morning will be mostly dry with some sunny spells and the odd shower, mostly in Ulster, before the clouds come in later in the day, bringing more widespread showers.

Overnight, temperatures are expected to drop to between 4 and 8 degrees in light to moderate winds. 

Met Éireann said tomorrow will be “dull, damp and breezy” with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. 

In the late afternoon and evening, Munster and south Leinster will get most of the rain while bright spells and isolated showers will develop elsewhere, with highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees.
