Police investigation under way following fatal fire in Co Derry

A man died following the fire at a flat in the Winchester Park area of Co Derry last night.

THE PSNI ARE investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal fire at a flat in the Winchester Park area of Co Derry last night.

Police responded to the incident at around 11.40pm on Friday, 19 April. A man was found dead at the scene.

A full examination is due to be undertaken today in order to determine the cause of the fire.
