Woman charged after cash, jewellery and computers seized in Dublin raid

The woman was one of four people arrested as part of a major crime operation in Dublin.

A 47-YEAR-OLD WOMAN has been charged as part of a major garda investigation into criminal activity in Dublin.

The woman was one of four people arrested on Thursday morning as gardaí from across the Dublin region – including the Air Support Unit – carried out searches in the Leixlip and Tallaght areas.

Cash, jewellery, computer items and various financial documents were seized during the searches.

The three other people arrested, who were all men, were released last night without charge. Gardaí said that a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The 47-year-old woman was bailed and will appear at Dún Laoghaire District Court on 24 June.
