A WOMAN IN her 20s has been released after being arrested in connection with a drugs seizure in Thurles.
Gardaí said this morning that the woman was released without charge last night.
A file will now be prepared for the information of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
A male in his 30s remains in custody.
Heroin, amphetamine and cannabis with a combined estimated street value of €40,000 was seized when uniformed gardaí and members of the Divisional Drugs Unit searched a house in Thurles on Tuesday evening.
The arrests were part of an ongoing investigation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in Tipperary.
