10-year-old boy injured after being struck by train at Howth Junction

The boy has been taken to Beaumont Hospital where he is being treated for leg injuries.

A 10-YEAR-OLD BOY is in hospital this evening after being struck by a train in north Dublin earlier today.

The incident occurred at around 4:30pm, when the boy was hit by a train at Howth Junction station.

The boy has been taken to Beaumont Hospital where he is being treated for leg injuries. His condition is not known at this time.

Services between Howth and Howth Junction stations were disrupted for about 90 minutes as a result of the incident.
