Body of missing woman Breda Delaney recovered off Scotland

The 72-year-old woman went missing in July this year.

THE BODY OF a woman missing from Dublin since earlier this year has been recovered off the coast of Scotland.

Breda Delaney (72) was reported missing from her home in Blackrock in July of this year.

Extensive efforts were made to track down Breda, including large scale searches across south Dublin.

Gardaí confirmed this evening that a body recovered from the sea off Scotland is that of the 72-year-old.

In a statement through the Garda Press Office, her family this evening expressed their thanks to everyone who was involved in the search.
