Man killed in morning crash between van and motorbike

The road has been closed for a technical examination and diversions have been put in place.

A MAN IN his 40s has died after a crash between a van and a motorbike in Cork this morning.

It happened at Dr Barry’s Bridge, Rathcormac, Co Cork at around 7:45am.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene but the driver of the van wasn’t injured.

Gardaí are currently at the scene of the crash. The road has been closed for a technical examination and diversions have been put in place.

Gardaí in Fermoy are appealing for witnesses to contact them on 025-82100.
