Cyclist in her 60s killed in Kerry crash with 4x4 this afternoon

The cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

A CYCLIST IN her 60s has died after a crash with a 4×4 in Kerry this afternoon.

It happened at the Gap of Dunloe at around 3pm.

The cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene but the driver of the 4X4 vehicle was uninjured.

The stretch of road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by garda forensic collision investigators.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to contact Killarney Garda Station on 064 6671160, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
