Man in his 60s stabbed to death in Dublin

The man was pronounced dead in hospital.

A MAN IN his 60s has been stabbed to death in Dublin city.

Gardaí say they were called to the scene at Robinsons Court, Cork Street at about 2.30pm after they had been alerted to reports that a man had suffered serious stab wounds.

The man was taken by ambulance to St James’ Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

The scene of the stabbing has been preserved for technical examination and the offices of the State Pathologist have been notified.

The Garda Technical Bureau is also due to attend the scene later today.

Any witnesses or anyone who may have information about the stabbing are being asked to contact gardaí at Kevin Street Garda Station.
