Three people seriously injured as axe-wielding man attacks passengers on German train
The attacker was also armed with a knife.
A MAN WIELDING an axe and a knife who attacked passengers on a train in Germany has been shot dead by police.
The attack happened on a train that was travelling from Treuchtlingen to Würzburg in Bavaria.
Three of the victims suffered serious injuries and another was slightly injured. Another 14 people were treated for shock.
Police said there was not yet any information on the motive behind the attack, nor details on the identity of the attacker.
