Teens arrested after men assaulted near Luas stop

In another incident, five people were arrested in Mullingar.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING an assault on two men in Tallaght that occurred yesterday.

The two men, who are in their 30s, were assaulted at 6.45pm at the Luas stop at the Square in Tallaght.

The men were brought to Tallaght Hospital.

Two males aged 17 were arrested and later released without charge.

Mullingar

A minor public order incident occurred in a pub yesterday in Mullingar, Co Westmeath.

Five people were arrested at about 9.50pm last night.

One garda received minor injuries during the incident.
