FOOTAGE HAS EMERGED of a man narrowly avoiding being stuck by a machete while attempting to stop assailants fleeing a jewellery robbery in London.
A (rather sharply dressed) bystander attempts to intervene by throwing himself on one of the men.
However, he quickly, and understandably, has second thoughts when the man pulls out a massive machete.
One of the men attempting to flee the scene was arrested a short time later, BBC News reports. Two others remain at large.
The incident happened on Thursday afternoon at a jewellery shop on Liverpool Street.
