Man in serious condition following Louth crash

The driver was taken to Avery Hill hospital in Newry for treatment.

A MAN IS in a serious condition after a crash in Louth this evening.

The single vehicle incident happened at Ballyoonan, on the Carlingford side of the former Táin holiday village in Omeath.

The driver was taken to Daisy Hill hospital in Newry for treatment.

The Carlingford Omeath Road is now closed and local diversions are in place.

Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact the Gardai at Drogheda on 041-9874200 the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
