Gardaí investigating death of man in pub appeal for dashcam footage

GARDAÍ ARE SEEKING the public’s assistance in relation to the death of Patrick O’Donnell.

The 36-year-old died following an altercation in Willie Andies pub in Mitchelstown, Co Cork on Friday at around 11pm.

A preliminary report of a post-mortem has indicated that he died as a result of that assault.

A man who was arrested at the scene appeared in court on Sunday, having been charged with murder.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to come forward and have in particular appealed to anyone who has dashcam footage to contact Fermoy Garda Station on 025 82100, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
