Poll: Do you pre-drink before you go for a night out?

A new study claims 85% of Irish people pre-drink before they go out to the pub or club.

A NEW STUDY has seen Ireland put top of the list of countries that drink alcohol before going out.

Across 25 countries, Ireland had the highest rate of pre-drinking with 85% of the 1,883 people surveyed here saying that they drank in a private setting before they went to the pub or club.

This was higher than the UK (75%) and Denmark (76.2%) and a great deal higher than the country with the lowest percentage of pre-drinkers, Greece (17.7%).
