Travelling today? Read this before you head off

It’s a limited service and the roads are icy.

While the day will be milder than yesterday, low temperatures are being reported on roads across the country.

In some areas on the M7, temperatures are being reported as low as -7 Celsius.

Highs today will reach between seven and 11 Celsius and tonight will see another relatively mild evening, with lows of between four and eight degrees.

On public transport, limited services are operating, with Iarnród Éireann operating a Saturday service in many parts of the country.

The changes will largely affect commuter services.

In Dublin, a Saturday service will operate on Dublin Bus, with City Tours, Ghostbus tours and Coastal tours all operating as normal. For those still partying this evening, there will be no Nitelinks.

On buses across the country, Bus Éireann has cancelled two services – the 06.25 Bilboa Cross to Shannon Industrial Estate bus and the 4.35pm bus going the opposite way.

Elsewhere, there are Saturday services on some other routes.
