Two men injured in Dublin shooting

Gardaí are appealing for information following a gun attack in Bluebell in which two men were wounded.

TWO MEN ARE recovering in hospital after sustaining injuries in a gun attack in Bluebell, Co Dublin last night.

The incident occurred at around 11.15pm in a house on Huband Road. The scene has been sealed off for a technical examination.

One man is aged in his 20s and the other in his mid-40s. Both men were taken to St James’ Hospital, but their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Three men aged 17, 31 and 33 were arrested shortly afterwards and are being held under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939 at Kevin Street, Kilmainham and Pearse Street Garda Stations.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have any information about the incident or who saw any unusual or suspicious activity in the Huband Road area around the time of the shooting to contact them on 01 666 9700, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111, or at any garda station.
