Viable device discovered in car in Dublin

The device was discovered in Rialto at around 11.30pm last night.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING an incident in which a suspicious device was left in a car in Dublin.

The device was discovered at around 11.30pm on St James’s Walk, Rialto.

The Defence Forces bomb removal team was called to the scene and removed the device, which they described as ‘viable’, for technical examination.

No one was injured in the incident.
