NOT ONLY HAS Friday arrived, but we’re also in for a spell of fine late summer weather.
In the last few days before the schools are back in action and offices are at full tilt again, we’ve been gifted with the promise of dry, sunny weather, with temperatures of between 17 and 20 degrees over this weekend.
And we’re going to take full advantage of it while we can – and before the winter weather hits us hard.
Today
If it was misty last night or rainy this morning in your area, don’t let that spoil your weekend plans.
According to Met Éireann, the rain will start in the west and move across the country, disappearing by nightfall, and leaving the skies fairly cloud-free for Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday
Met Éireann’s five day weather forecast shows that Saturday is set to be warm and dry for the day, with only night time showing any sign of rainfall.
Sunday
Warm bouts of sunshine are promised all over Ireland this Sunday – so don’t hold back on your outdoor plans. Highest temperatures for the weekend are set to hit the high teens, typically 17 to 20 degrees.
And there you have it – Irish weather can really pull it out of the bag sometimes.
