Flash flooding warning for early today

Met Éireann has warned that it will be very wet this morning – but it should get drier into the evening time.

It said that it is very wet this morning, which will lead to flash flooding in places.

However, there is good news ahead, as drier weather with “just a few showers” is expected as the day progresses.

It will also be “breezy”, with some gusty northwest winds developing, before scattered showers appear overnight, along with some patches of mist or fog, says Met Éireann.
