Appeal for witnesses after serious Cork crash

The accident happened on the Cork to Waterford road in the early hours of this morning.

GARDAÍ HAVE APPEALED for witnesses to a serious crash in Cork in the early hours of this morning to come forward.

The accident happened at around 1.45am on the N25 Cork to Waterford road, around 150 metres east of the off-ramp from Carrigtwohill Village. Gardaí would in particular like to speak to any motorists who may have been at the scene at the time of the collision.

The road remained closed until just after 11 o’clock this morning as an examination of the scene was carried out.
