Woman arrested over murder of Jeffrey Hannon

Nineteen-year-old Hannon was found dead at O’Malley Park in Limerick in November 2007.

GARDAÍ IN LIMERICK city have arrested a woman in connection with the death of teenager Jeffrey Hannon in 2007.

The 19-year-old was found dead at O’Malley Park in Limerick in November 2007. He had suffered head injuries as well as injuries to his body.

Today, gardaí arrested a woman in her late 30s as part of the ongoing investigation into Hannon’s murder and are holding her under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act at Henry Street Garda Station in Limerick.

So far, 18 people have been arrested as part of the investigation.
