1. MURDER: An Irishman in Australia was allegedly stabbed to death by the ex-husband of a woman he was on a date with.

2. #SPAIN: A 21-year-old Irishman has died in the swimming pool of an apartment complex in the Costa del Sol.

3. #CRIME: The latest figures show murders were down last year, but there was a 25% spike in kidnappings.

4. #ABUSE: There have been calls for an investigation into the case of a child psychologist, convicted of child sexual assault, who was allowed to remain on the British medical register for 24 years.
