ALLIANZ IRELAND ARE now in their third year of hosting the Allianz Rewards pet event at the NSPCA headquarters in Dublin. The event which welcomed over 600 Allianz pet insurance customers and their furry best friend, is the perfect summers day out for the whole family.
The sun came out from behind the clouds for last weekend’s event, which gave dog lovers the opportunity to come together, meet each other’s furry friends, and gave the dogs themselves the perfect chance to make some friends too.
The event, which was exclusive to customers who have pet insurance with Allianz, boasted a range of activities and events, including talks from dog trainers, advice on how to keep pets happy, as well as plenty of fun and games for families and their furry friends to enjoy.
There were also very useful training sessions, designed to answer common questions that pet owners have, such as “How can I get my dog to stop barking?” One guest, who described herself as a ‘first-time dog mam’ extolled the benefits of the training sessions, which helped teach her dog to sit and also some elements of recall.
As you can see, the dogs were certainly enjoying themselves — here are some of the doggos from this year’s Allianz Pet Event.
“We’re delighted to have the Allianz customer event up at our site in Dublin again this year,” said Alannah Butler, Corporate and Major Donor Manager at the NSPCA.
“It’s an amazing day out for the whole family, plenty to do, and a really great opportunity for us as well to highlight all the animals that need homes.”
“The day’s been lovely, we really enjoyed it,” said one Allianz customer in attendance “Lovely for the dogs to meet each other, and it’s been a lovely event for the kids.”
One young attendee said: “My favourite part of the day is petting the dogs.” Another said that his favourite part of the day was bringing his dog Lucy to the Agility Park, where dogs could run around and go through obstacle courses.
The event, offered to Allianz Pet Insurance customers as part of their rewards programme Allianz Rewards, highlighted the importance of care, companionship and giving animals a good home. Allianz Pet Insurance offers cover for both dogs and cats, and you can get 12% off online now.
