SNOW AND ICE is causing havoc for road users this morning with may routes reported as icy and slippery.

Dublin Bus and Bus Éireann have reported a number of disruptions to their services, mainly in the east of the country, due to the bad weather.

Dublin Bus is advising customers that:

• Route 66a is not serving Captain’s Hilland  River Forest until further notice.
• Route 44 is operating to and from Enniskerry via Monastery Cross and Monastery Road.
• Route 44B is not serving Glencullen and is terminating at the Blue church, Kilternan.
• Route 185 towards Enniskerry is operating via Dargle Road, the M11, then via Old Connaught Avenue, Ballyman Road and Monastery Road.
• Route 185 towards Bray is operating via Monastery Road, Ballyman Road, Old Connaught Avenue and Dublin Road, and back on to normal route.
• Route 185 which serves Palermo will also serve the Dargle Road on its outbound journey until further notice.

Meanwhile, Bus Éireann says the majority of services are currently operating as normal with some exceptions in the east of the country:

• Route 109A Navan/DCU is operating 20 with minute delays.
• Route 115 Dublin/Mullingar is operating with 20 minute delays.
• Route 120 Dublin/Edenderry is operating with 40 minute delays.
• Route 123 Dublin – Clane – Prosperous – Robertstown/Newbridge – Robertstown is impassable for buses at present. The 09.00 service departing Dublin will not operate – intending passengers can travel as far as Prosperous, Co Kildare on 09.30, 120 departure.

Iarnród Éireann say that all services are running as normal.
