Whilst she was being assaulted another of the teens stole her mobile and money.

POLICE IN NORTHERN Ireland are appealing for information following the robbery of a 14-year-old girl in the Royal Avenue area of Belfast on Thursday night, 16 May.

At around 9.30pm the victim was waiting for a bus in the Royal Avenue area when she was approached by three males. One of them punched her in the face knocking her to the ground and started to kick her in the back.

Whilst she was being kicked and punched another of the males went through her coat pockets and stole her mobile phone and a sum of money.

The male who assaulted the girl is described as being approximately 16/17 years old, approximately 5ft 11in tall, thin build and wearing a black Adidas tracksuit, white Nike cap and Nike Airmax trainers.

The other two males are described as being of the same height and build and wearing black clothes with their hoods up.

Police are keen to speak to a female who came to the assistance of the victim and gave her a lift.

Police would ask the woman who offered assistance or anyone who may have witnessed this assault to contact them at York Road on 00 44 845 600 8000.
