TODAY MARKS “BLUE Monday”, which is often described as the most miserable day of the year.
The Christmas rush is over and summer feels like it’s a million miles away – particularly as the cold and wet weather continues. Mondays can already feel long enough, but in January they can be especially difficult as many people adjust to returning to their normal routines.
Separate from the New Order song, the term “Blue Monday” was coined by psychologist Cliff Arnall in 2005. While its legitimacy has long been questioned, there is no denying that the start of the week can be a struggle for many.
With that in mind, we want to hear from you.
Tell us: How are you feeling this ‘Blue Monday’?
