Bomb squad called out to defuse...a sex toy

Case of the ticking package brings to mind a certain Tom Jones hit…

A RUSSIAN BOMB squad got a bit of a surprise earlier this week when it was called out to defuse a suspect package – which turned out to be a vibrator.

The incident occurred in a post office in the northwest of Russia, when anti-terrorist bomb squad experts were called in to make safe a package.

They were called because staff reported a strange ticking sound was coming from it, the Telegraph report, and the post office was evacuated.

However, when they went to the post office in Petrozavodsk in the republic of Karelia, they discovered that the package held a vibrator, which had been turned on by accident.
